About Our Business
I started this company because I was aware of people throwing out their older laptops
and felt frustrated, because I was aware they contained metals and chemicals that are
toxic to our environment. I did not want my kids to look at me one day and say "couldn't
your generation have done something more" ?
My mission is to encourage people to reuse, recycle or resell. Even if you don't buy or
sell from me, if I can give you the information or links so you can dispose of your
equipment in the most environmentally friendly way possible, then I feel you and I have
added a little value to our planet.
We take pride in the fact that we can help keep older laptops out of landfills by
refurbishing them and giving them new life. Of course our buyers love the money they
save as well !

man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime."
Is Kiva.
Lenders browse and choose an entrepreneur they wish to fund. Kiva aggregates loan
capital from individual lenders and transfers it to the appropriate Field Partners to
disburse to the entrepreneur chosen by the lender. As the entrepreneurs repay their
loans, the Field Partners remit funds back to Kiva. As the loan is repaid, the Kiva
lenders can withdraw their principal or re-loan it to another entrepreneur.
